CCCMA Events
The following events are either sponsored by or financially supported by the Cherokee County Christian Ministerial Alliance:
Back to School Blessing - Held in August, the Back to School Blessing provides an opportunity for those in our community who may have a hard time purchasing the necessary school items for their children to receive a backpack with every item the school asks them to bring. Free haircuts, snacks, and fun opportunities are also provided at this yearly event.
Boyz Bash - The CCCMA supports the Tahlequah Pregnancy Center in this yearly event which provides those in grades 6, 7 & 8 to get some time off from school for a good time, lunch, and special prizes while listening to great speakers share the value of abstaining from sex until married.
Girls Tea - In the spring of each year the CCCMA also supports the Tahlequah Pregnancy Center an event for girls in the sixth, seventh, and eighth grades share the power of recognizing that each girl is "worth the wait".
National Day of Prayer - Each year the churches of Tahlequah come together to observe the National Day of Prayer while worshipping together in one central location.
Thanksgiving Celebration - As the time of harvest approaches the Alliance members once again draw together members from many of the area churches to celebrate God's goodness as He provides for all of our needs. A united community choir joins in this celebration each year.
